Inside the Temple of Literature in Hanoi, Vietnam
One of my favorite places in Hanoi, this well preserved temple is a peaceful and serene retreat from the chaotic streets outside. Founded in 1070, and dedicated to Confucius, the Temple of Literature was Vietnam’s first university.
I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand.” _Confucius

29 Jul 2012Understandable. Historically it was a place to study the writings of Confucius, Buddha, etc.
