7 Aug 2012The little fingerlings on the bloom are actually the beginnings of the fruit. It takes about two months for a stalk to mature. Thank you for visiting.

7 Aug 2012I was astounded the first time I saw a banana stalk and the flower – Incredibly, despite eating bananas my whole life, I only learned how they grow during a recent visit to Costa Rica.
