Travel Theme ~ Signs ~ Florida Everglades

Prayer is Best
Prayer is Best

Several miles down a very rutted gravel road in Florida’s Everglades while on a photo shoot I passed the entrance to the Everglades Conservation and Sportsmans (sic) Club. The sign on the padlocked gate gave me pause. I thought the message was especially clear given who the property belongs to.

      1. Don’t think they intended to be in the case of trespassers!

  5. My husband and I have been there to Everglades City: definitely the spot for writers . I would love to spend the summer there writing a book. Great posting.

    1. A unique place for sure. Suffer quite a bit of damage from hurricane Irma I understand.

      1. I grew up in the Catskill Mountains in a small enough area which reminded me of this setting. We all knew one another. Most of us when we grew up had to move on but it is still nice to encounter an interested town along the way.
