Finding a few moments of solitary time in crowded Kolkata, India, a city of over 15 million people is no easy task. But this man has done just that. He has found a relatively cool place away from the the cities stiffing heat for a little solitude and a noon time nap in a hallway in the Nakhoda Masjid Mosque.

24 Sep 2012I was in Calcutta for two weeks. One week photographing Durga and one mostly street photography. I took over 5700 photos so yes I am sure I have more than the average resident. 🙂 It was a difficult trip but such a fabulous experience.
