24 Oct 2012you are right, and i don’t miss those winter months at all. my perennial cough would begin each november and last until march. it seemed that february always brought the most difficult stretch of bad weather.
i rejoice that i don’t have to endure icy conditions any more!

29 Oct 2012a few days ago at hacienda guachala in the andes, i was surprised to see ‘frosty breath’ accompany me in the early morning walk on the grounds.
we have three or four more days in the andes before heading to sea level!
