The sun had just slid beneath the horizon for another day. The sky was virtually cloudless, hence the eerie blue glow of the water being reflected from above. A few pelicans remain on the pilings a short distance away. But, they too sense approaching nightfall and begin to leave for their night’s roost. Their ghost-like traces are recorded by my camera as a mere blur.
