  1. Looks magical Ron – and as always super photographs for us to enjoy. 🙂

    1. Thanks. It was cool having the second balloon up with us.

  2. Guau!!! That is the kind of thing I would love to do…Really the world you see from the top shows the beauty and magic we ignore because it is at our level everyday…Great pics!

    1. Thanks. It was cool having a bird’s eye view and to just gilde along silently.

    1. Thank you. I’ve been enjoying your Belize trip.

  3. i was telling someone a few days ago that i’d love to see the nazca lines/peru via a balloon. this looks equally tempting! i loved the bird’s eye view of the bird in the treetop, andi loved he shadows in the final image!

    1. We were much more impressed with seeing the bird at her level than she was with seeing us!

You said today that the rain had stopped. Rainy season ending or just pausing?

      1. rainy season is just starting, and it’s been a brisk start. we had another inch and one half last night, and it’s drizzling again now. earlier we had 3 inches one day, and probably three the day before that. the rainy season will last thru march, and if an el nino eases in, that rainy season will continue for another month or so – so i have been told. i’ve yet to experience an el nino year.

    1. Hot air balloons are fantastic no matter where.

  5. Having ridden in a balloon in France’s Loire Valley, I can attest that it is an extraordinary experience! I love your dramatic closing shot in particular. Was this your first hot air balloon ride?

  6. That’s a good looking hippo. If you haven’t won some awards for these, something is wrong with the world.

    1. Thanks Kerbey for your generous comment.

  7. Now that’s the way to see it. I especially loved the bird atop the tree going about his business. Thanks for sharing:)
