Macro Monday – Withered Beauty 2

Macro Monday – Withered Beauty 2

Withered Beauty 2 is a followup to Macro Monday – Withered Beauty. The same bloom, but shot in a little closer. The image set up was simply a strong light to the right and a little behind the orchid along with a white card to the left front to reflect a little light back to the front. The image was made with seven bracketed shots processed as HDR to help control the extreme dynamic range caused by the intense light and the black background.
