A Single Bloom – a Single Image (2)

A Phalaenopsis orchid in full bloom basks in the early morning sun. One of the most coveted flowering plants, the delicate, exotic and graceful orchid has been hunted in the wild and cultivated in conservatories and greenhouses for centuries.

 For when a man falls in love with orchids, he’ll do anything to possess the one he wants. It’s like chasing a green-eyed woman or taking cocaine… it’s a sort of madness…
