  1. ‘nowhere to somewhere..’ i like that, and it fits the tone of the images! it reminds me of ‘vanishing america…

      1. as in the mississippi delta? sorry, i’m on very slow internet, or i’d be back at the post right now to examine closer! it will be the end of the week before i go to town/faster internet…

          1. i’m there now in my mind’s eye! i’ve lived up and down that river, from clarksdale, mississippi to the rosedale/greenville area, to yazoo county, just n of vicksburg, then down to natchez!

            i made quite the leap when i landed in ecuador!

  8. As one who loves the theme of abandoned, these are photos that definitely speak to me. I think the sepia cast fits them perfectly.
