I am a desperate man. I haven’t been shooting much lately. I’m getting a little itchy, a little twitchy. I find myself wandering around parking lots, eyes down. Suddenly I stop, fixated on a spot on the pavement. Turning first this way, then that. Step a little this way and then that. “That’s it, I’ve got it!” Reaching for my iPhone, I bend at the waist, arms extended, carefully framing. Click. Done. I straighten, disoriented, looking for the car. Why are all these people staring at me?
“I’m impatient. I get twitchy. When I get that feeling I just go out and make something happen.”

“Where there was once the incredibly complex diversity of nature, there is now the dead simplicity of asphalt and concrete.”
