The streets of Budapest, one of Europe’s great cities, are rewarding for a wandering photographer. Painstakingly restored after the pummeling it received from the Allied Forces during WW II. “The Pearl of the Danube” is rich in architecture and culture and a very liveable city. Its residents seem to enjoy all their city has to offer.
This is the first of a short series of photo essays chronicling life in Budapest.
The series was shot with the Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark II and the Ricoh GR.
Information on archival quality prints from this series is available here.

26 May 2016What an amazing photo essay, Ron. Mike and I were planning a trip to Prague and Budapest, but because our home renovation is going on much longer than expected, we decided to go another year. Instead we’re going to Iceland, which should be wonderful. However, I’ll save this photo essay to inspire me when we make our plans, hopefully next year. 🙂

28 May 2016I hope you do make it to Prague and Budapest. Two different but equally beautiful cities. Iceland should be awesome.
