Bordeaux 1989 was a very good year.
Indeed, 1989 is one of the better Bordeaux vintages in recent years. That’s a fact. It is also a fact that I do not have a Bordeaux of that vintage. But with a little artistic license!
I have recently started making a series of wine-related still-life images. It is quite a challenge. Photographing glass is always difficult, at least for me. Controlling the unwanted reflections while using other reflections as part of the composition is always the goal. As you likely know, I enjoy the process of making the images and I enjoy wine. What’s taken so long to get this series started, I wonder.
