Food Photography is a logical evolution from the elaborate Old World Still Life images I have been exploring. Most of the process remains the same: The same painstaking attention to the props and set and the relation of its components. Lighting. It is always all about the lighting. One of my strengths as a food/still life photographer is my skill and understanding of the use of lighting and light shaping to bring out the dimension, color, and texture of the hero of the set.
