Japanese Tea Pot with Calligraphy Brushes is a fairly straight forward, uncluttered still life photograph. The juxtaposition of the cool colored, textured pot and cup with the warm hues of the tea leaves, calligraphy brushes, and vase makes for a pleasing composition. Further, I tried to honor the simple, ordered style prevalent in Japanese art.
I’ve explored a lot of different styles of photography from street photography to landscapes to compositing. Still life photography is the most challenging, but by far, the most rewarding. I have found my niche and hope you’ll follow along.

1 Jun 2025Thanks for your interest in my work. You would need to license each image you would want to use. The license cost $125.00 per image and includes a high resolution digital file to your use. That gives you unlimited rights to use the image though I retain its copyright. Sorry for the delay in responding to you and hope to hear from you soon.
