Fish Wrapped in Newspaper – a Hidden Message?
A couple of fish lay wrapped in yesterday’s newspaper. Maybe a hidden message here? Back in the day, finding fish wrapped in newspaper on your doorstep could be a not-so-subtle dispatch from the Scillian Mafia. A nonverbal communique that you have displeased the mob and may soon find yourself “swimming with the fishes.” Preferable to waking up with a horse’s head in bed with you I suppose. The Godfather movies – time to watch them again!
