I am thrilled to introduce what is quite possibly the world’s first ensemble of singing carp. They are called Koi in Japan, you know. Unfortunately their album is not quite ready for release so I can only share their glamour shots with you today. Keep checking back. I will be announcing their “Singing Carp World Tour” dates here soon.
Thank you Ailsa for the opportunity to tie in their debut with your Travel Theme on Animals this week.
You do believe me, don’t you? Don’t tell me. You think they are just a bunch of fish in a pond begging for food and that I’m crazy. How could you!

6 Oct 2012I’m sure you wouldn’t lie to us, Ron. “Little Tommy Tucker sang for his supper.” I remember that nursery rhyme very well,……….so why shouldn’t Koi do the same? 🙂

6 Oct 2012Exactly. Sometimes I think we take ourselves too seriously. Time to lighten up. 😉 Thank you for the comment.

9 Oct 2012Wat a great slideshow – in a couple, the carp looks almost like a singing bird, flapping its wings!
