This ’48 firecracker red Chevy is still rolling along the narrow streets of Habana Veja. How many miles, one can only guess. Arguably, Cuba has more classic American cars than anywhere else.

12 Apr 2015Another fantastic image, Ron. These old classic cars are really iconic. It would seem a real shame if the streets become full of modern cars one day, but I guess it’s only a matter of time before things start looking up for the Cuban economy.

16 Apr 2015Almost all of the old American cars are driven out of necessity and not for the love of old cars. And this will change as the economy there I proves and the embargo comes down. Thank you Sylvia.

12 Apr 2015Classic indeed Ron – LOVE the color in this shot – especially the yellow jacket juxtaposed with the car.

16 Apr 2015Thanks Tina. Yes, and even the colors of the surrounding buildings contributed. It all unfolded very quickly with a happy result.

18 Apr 2015Classic shot Ron ~ the car and pedestrian are perfect, but then everything in the background also blends in so well with this shot. ~

23 Apr 2015Thanks Randall. And I thought the lighting pulled it all together.
