Sunday Stills: Great Egret

A Great Egret glides silently over a Florida marsh, as they have for eons. And hopefully, for eons more if we can stop Florida’s politicians from completely poisoning South Florida’s environment.

The images were made with an Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II with an Olympus 300mm f/4 lens and processed in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom.

  1. Stunning!
Incidentally, your post on the burrowing owls brought up the error 404, not available. Did you know there was a problem?

    1. Thanks. Sorry about the owls. They flew out before they were ready. I inadvertently hit “publish” before I was finished. Stay tuned. 🙂

  2. Fabulous capture Ron. Utterly gorgeous photo.

    1. Thanks, Alison. In the original, the regret was flying against a white cloud background. Added some textures and vignettes to, hopefully, make to more interesting.

    1. Thank you, C.S. And thanks for visiting.
