“Tomatoes and Mushrooms, Still Life”
I have recently been considering some of my Still Life compositions as monochrome images. While the rich hues of the objects I tend to use in the tableaus all but demand they be photographed color I occasionally wonder what they would look like as a black and white image. “Tomatoes and Mushrooms, Still Life” is one.
While I like and shoot in black and white a lot, and I like this monochrome version, I admit I prefer the bold rich hues of the original version.
