Ephemeral Tides – Surf Fishing Dreams

Surf Fishing

Moments Drift Along the Shoreline

This image showcases a serene and dreamy coastal scene, emphasizing a blend of natural beauty and artistic expression. The aesthetics are defined by soft, flowing textures, achieved through a long exposure technique that blurs the movement of the waves, creating a smooth and ethereal effect. The motion blur of the figures on the beach adds a sense of transience and passage of time, enhancing the contemplative mood.

The color palette features rich turquoise hues of the ocean and sky, contrasted with the sandy tones of the beach, lending a vibrant yet calming atmosphere. The composition draws the viewer’s eye along the shoreline, offering depth and a dynamic sense of scale. Overall, the style merges realism with impressionism, evoking both tranquility and a dreamlike quality, characteristic of fine art coastal photography.

    1. I have been experimenting with so-called ICM—intentional camera movement—and have gotten a few interesting images. There has been lots of trial and error. Thanks!
