Myakka River State Park | another COVID-19 Victim

Myakka River State Park is closed, as are all of Florida’s State Parks. A victim of the Coronavirus. I’m sure the wildlife is enjoying peace. Going about their lives; building nests, feeding and raising their young.

I am frustrated not being able to get out and photograph our wildlife and sunrises and sunsets. But I understand and agree with the necessity for the closures. Like you, comprehending the magnitude and seriousness of this pandemic is something I continue to struggle with. I’m more than a little frightened. I am tempted to rant about the lacking, weak, egotistical, self-centered leadership and their lies to the American people. And the resulting unnecessary suffering and loss of life. But it serves no purpose but to make me even angrier.

Stay safe. Stay well, my friends.
