Nature’s Abundance
“Nature’s Abundance, a Still Life” is a tableau overflowing with late summer’s seasonal fruit. Grapes, plums, cherries, persimmons all flush with color and bursting with flavor. Little wonder artists have depicted fruit and vegetables and other foods throughout the millennia. Food, after all, is necessary for our survival, but it is also one of life’s great pleasures. Not just nourish us, of course, but to enjoy visually.
