You say you are sick and tired of the cold and the dreary skies and the cold and the ice and snow and the cold.
You say you feel like a grumpy, hibernating bear. You say you only want to eat and sleep.
You say your feet have not been warm for months.
You say you wonder how they claim our planet is suffering from global warming when it is so damn cold.
You say you have forgotten what the sun’s warmth on your face feels like.
Well, take heart. I have it on good authority that this too will pass and spring will arrive, eventually, followed but warm, sunny summer. Before long we will be complaining how hot it is.
In the meantime, I have created a computer screen saver of this beautiful beach in the Bahamas to help you endure the rest of winter’s wrath. You can find it here.
May your devastating winter blues finally give way to your debilitating spring allergies.

While I love winter, sitting here in -20C weather – I’d love to be on that beach right now…
I can’t even imagine -20c. Thanks for visiting.
Finally, tomorrow, the end of our deep freeze is in sight. Today will still be below freezing, but for the next five days we’re breaking through! I would LOVE to be sitting on your beautiful beach right now!
Its been brutal for many and still it!
my mood was turning me into a grump bear when it took almost two hours to open the inbox/your post, only to have the image not load.. but about half an hour after the page opened, the image appeared!
stunning! i knew it would be worth the wait, though i thought it would be tonight before i saw it!
sigh.. there are reasons to be hard headed, and i’m glad that i did not give up! z

Stunning paradise pic, Ron. 🙂
Thanks Sylvia. Though we really can’t complain so far this winter.
Not at all. 🙂
Yum!! To scrunch my toes into that sand….
Yes, the sand is very scrunchable. 🙂
There is nothing like warming up your winter dreams with photos of the beach! Beautiful!
Thank you. And wouldn’t we be lost without our dreams.
